About the course
BSc in Home Science is a three year undergraduate programme that teaches students about the economics and management of running a home or building. The BSc Home
Science is interdisciplinary, covering the fundamentals of math, physics, chemistry, and biology. Students study topics including nutrition, human development,
home economics, textile and fashion design, extension education, health, environment, home management, and traditional culture.
BSc in Home Science students can work as a counsellor, trainee fitness coach, junior dietician, trainee nutritionist, junior trainee in fashion firms, project
manager in non-governmental organisations, and other positions.
Eligibility
- MINIMUM EDUCATION - Completion of 10+2 (higher secondaryeducation) from a recognised board.
- MINIMUM MARKS - It is crucial to acquire a minimum aggregate score of 50% in class 12th.
