About the course

The MD course is a PG medical program designed for MBBS graduates who wish to specialize in specific medical fields. MD course duration is 3 years which emphasizes advanced theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, and research. Further, the MD course focuses on advanced medical knowledge and expertise in a specific specialization. To get admission to the MD course, candidates must pass their MBBS at an institution that the ICMR has approved to study Medicine. Candidates should also have finished a one-year required internship. MD course admission is made based on NEET PG and INICET scores. Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Dentistry, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology are some of the popular specialisations of MD course. Entrance Exam for MD

After graduating from medical school, students may pursue a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, a three-year post-graduate degree program. NEET PG and INI CET are two admission examinations for medical school. To be eligible for these tests, students must have completed an MBBS degree with 50 per cent marks. Depending on the test, there are multiple cutoff points.

The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to high. To score good marks in these examinations, you should study MBBS subjects such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, etc. Almost all of the examinations are conducted as multiple-choice questions and are computer-based.
