About MSC
A Master of Science is the full form of MSc degree. An MSc is the typical master’s degree offered for STEM and certain social science fields in both Europe and India.
The curriculum for MSc programmes is designed to offer students a thorough grasp of their chosen subjects. It includes individual modules in disciplines like
engineering, natural sciences, or economics. As part of their graduation requirements, students undertake an independent dissertation project, which usually spans
a two-year duration.
MSc programmes offer a diverse range of specialisations beyond traditional science majors such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. Emerging technical
subjects are also included to cater to the evolving interests of students. Within each specialisation, students usually undertake a research project, thesis, or
dissertation guided by faculty. This practical research aspect enables students to apply theoretical concepts and enhance critical thinking abilities.
