- SC/ ST students have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.
Why to study ME/MTech BioTechnology
- It provides higher earning potential, access to industry networking opportunities, cutting-edge knowledge and skills, and flexibility and diversity regarding one's career
- A master's degree in biotech is becoming increasingly important in the continuously evolving and highly competitive biotechnology industry.
- The primary objective of biotechnology is to create new products from biological systems that cannot be created by other manufacturing processes.
- A person with a degree in Biotechnology can be a genetic researcher, geneticist, bioinformatician, molecular biologist, or other similar jobs.
- The course offers diverse career opportunities. MTech Biotechnology degree holders can easily expect an average salary of INR 6,00,000 to 10,00,000 per annum. Apart from seeking jobs, students can also choose to pursue much higher education in their respective field.
Scope of ME/MTech BioTechnology
- There is a lot of scope for aspirants who pursue MTech Biotechnology as they can apply in the areas of medicine, technology, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.
Researchers are also in demand in India as well as internationally and often get funding to pursue their research. As we highlighted before, people can get jobs in the public and private sectors. - Career opportunities in Biotechnology are vast with the growth of the pharma industry. People who pursue Biotechnology take up jobs as biomedical engineers, biochemists, microbiologists, medical scientists, in process development or as clinical technicians as well.
- At present, Biotechnology is said to be one of the most recession-proof careers. Also, the jobs in healthcare are much more secure than in other companies, especially in the private sector.
- Biotechnology professionals can work for various industries and sectors. They can contribute to diverse areas including manufacturing, pharmaceutical, gene therapy, cell biology, environmental application, farming, etc.
